30‑Month Graduate Trainee Programme – Engineering Rotation

About the role

Sandvik Central Africa is offering a 30‑month Graduate Trainee Programme for recent engineering graduates. The role provides a structured rotational experience across all technical and service departments in a mining environment, combined with training, mentoring and hands‑on problem solving.

Key responsibilities

• Complete rotations in technical and service departments to gain broad operational knowledge.
• Support engineering projects and maintenance activities under senior supervision.
• Participate in training sessions, workshops and mentorship programmes.
• Apply engineering principles to real‑world mining challenges.
• Collaborate with experts to develop practical solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field, or a certificate/diploma in automotive, electrical, mechanical or heavy‑equipment repair.
• Graduated in 2024 or 2025.
• Maximum age of 26 years.
• Physically and medically fit to work in a mining environment.
• Residency in Mwanza, Ngara or nearby areas is strongly encouraged; female candidates are given priority.
