Warehouse Supervisor – FMCG

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) warehouse in Dar es Salaam. You will ensure smooth daily operations, accurate inventory control, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and optimal stock levels.
• Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols.
• Monitor and improve warehouse processes to boost productivity.
• Ensure high standards of quality control for stored and handled products.
• Collaborate with other departments for seamless operations.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse staff.
• Prepare reports and maintain records of warehouse activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Procurement or a related field.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
• Strong leadership, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem‑solving mindset with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Software (WMS).
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Odoo (advantage).
