Warehouse Coordinator – Materials

About the role

Manage inbound and outbound inventory operations for SBL products, including raw materials, packaging materials and point‑of‑sale items, within an assigned warehouse. Ensure operations are performed efficiently, safely and cost‑effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Materials Requirement Plans (MRP) to ensure optimal warehouse utilisation and timely availability of raw and packaging materials.
• Conduct weekly inventory counts, monthly and annual stock‑takes, perform variance analysis, and continuously monitor inventory levels, stock ageing and slow‑moving items, reporting findings to planning.
• Lead shift‑based and daily performance reviews, organise meetings, track key performance indicators, conduct walk‑abouts, and manage action tracking and escalations to the Warehouse Manager for both Diageo and third‑party logistics partners.
• Maintain compliance with Diageo’s health, safety and environment (HSE) standards, optimise lighting, signage, security measures, warehouse rack layout and overall configuration to support efficient operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as supply chain, logistics or business administration.
• At least three years of hands‑on experience in operations, inventory or warehouse management within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Proficient computer literacy, including use of inventory management systems and Microsoft Office, with ability to meet agreed timelines and priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, strong commercial acumen and the ability to adapt quickly to a fast‑changing operational setting.
