Volunteer Accountant (6-10 weeks) – Tanzania

About the role

This short‑term volunteer position supports a non‑profit Growth Fund in Tanzania. Over 6‑10 weeks you will help strengthen the fund’s financial management and improve its impact on local social and for‑profit enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct due‑diligence reviews on existing and prospective investments.
• Analyse loan performance, identify non‑performing loans and propose repayment strategies.
• Assess the outcomes of past investments and prepare performance reports.
• Provide recommendations on how the fund can engage investors more effectively moving forward.

Required profile

• Qualified accounting professional with experience in financial analysis or fund management.
• Familiarity with non‑profit or social‑enterprise financing is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently in a developing‑country context.
