Treasury Operations Analyst (3-6 months)

About the role

The Treasury Operations Analyst provides administrative and operational support to Cellulant’s treasury team in Tanzania. This fixed‑term position is ideal for candidates looking to develop a career in treasury operations within a fast‑moving fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and organizing KYC documentation for merchants and internal stakeholders.
• Support new account openings by completing forms and collecting board resolutions.
• Send proofs of payment to relevant parties and update daily/weekly bank and wallet balances.
• Monitor merchant emails for incoming funds, confirm receipts and flag discrepancies.
• Help the settlement team track daily settlement amounts and record transactions accurately.
• Maintain updated bank mandates and other compliance‑related documents.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in payments, back‑office or administrative support within fintech or banking.
• Familiarity with various payment methods and a solid understanding of fintech operations.
• Proficiency in time management and task prioritisation.
• Relevant academic background such as B.Com, Economics, Accounting or related business studies.
