Temporary Financial Analyst – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

Aquantuo is seeking a temporary Financial Analyst for a six‑month assignment to support its finance and operations teams across multiple African markets. The role combines statutory compliance, reconciliation, reporting and hands‑on operational tasks in a fast‑paced e‑commerce environment.

Key responsibilities

• File statutory taxes (PAYE, SDL, NSSF, VAT, Withholding Tax) and follow up on pending obligations.
• Reconcile eight payment channels (Ecobank, ABSA, cash, Vodacom, Mixx, etc.) and resolve discrepancies.
• Issue EFD receipts, manage petty cash and maintain supporting records.
• Initiate vendor and business payments via bank transfers and mobile money.
• Update daily exchange rates and prepare financial and management reports.
• Support operational activities such as marking packages for key accounts and assisting members with online payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
• L2/L3 qualification in chartered accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting software, especially QuickBooks and Excel.
• Strong financial management skills with high professionalism and integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Logistical background and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
