Swahili/Kiswahili Linguistic Tester (Remote, Mac M-Series Required)

About the role

Acclaro is looking for native Swahili/Kiswahili speakers with strong English comprehension to join its global linguistic community as freelance testers. You will work remotely on AI‑generated and localized content, helping ensure linguistic quality and UI consistency for IT and software products.

Key responsibilities

• Perform linguistic QA by reviewing AI‑generated Swahili/Kiswahili content for natural flow and cultural accuracy.
• Navigate software applications to spot layout issues, truncated text, and functional bugs in the Swahili/Kiswahili interface.
• Document and report linguistic and technical errors in clear English following provided guidelines.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in written and spoken Swahili/Kiswahili.
• Professional‑level English comprehension and written communication.
• Active access to a Mac computer with an Apple Silicon M‑series chip (M1, M2, M3, M4 or newer).
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify minor grammatical, formatting, and UI errors.
