About the role

The Support & Implementation Engineer will lead the installation, configuration, and deployment of alternate banking channel solutions for a global software provider. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure successful implementations, resolve technical issues, and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and deploy alternate banking channel solutions at client sites.
  • Prepare system readiness, including software, hardware, and network configurations.
  • Conduct system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate functionality and performance.
  • Identify, document, and resolve technical issues during implementation and testing phases.
  • Provide technical support in line with Service Level Agreements and escalate complex issues to development teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, databases, stored procedures, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Deliver client training and knowledge transfer after successful implementations.
  • Develop and manage implementation plans, timelines, and project deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth project execution and obtain client sign‑off.
  • Travel to client locations as required for implementations or support.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in software implementation, technical support, or banking/fintech systems support.
  • Experience with digital or alternate banking channels such as mobile banking, internet banking, agency banking, ATM, or payment integrations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to train clients in a technical environment.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites.

Required skills

  • SQL databases – writing queries and working with stored procedures.
  • System integration, APIs, and web services used in banking or fintech platforms.
  • Application servers, Linux and Windows environments.
  • Basic networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of core banking, micro‑finance systems, or payment switching platforms (preferred).
