Supply Chain Intern

About the role

Jaza Energy Inc is looking for a motivated Supply Chain Intern to support day‑to‑day supply chain and operational activities in Tanzania. The role offers hands‑on experience in inventory control, procurement, logistics and data reporting within a fast‑growing organization. Ideal for recent graduates with strong computer skills and a keen interest in supply chain processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inventory movements and support stock reconciliations across warehouses and hubs.
• Verify inventory transactions, identify discrepancies and maintain accurate records in company systems.
• Update and maintain supply chain trackers, perform data validation and generate routine reports.
• Assist with purchase order tracking, follow up with suppliers and ensure proper documentation.
• Track inbound and outbound shipments, coordinate deliveries between warehouses and suppliers, and support import and clearance documentation.
• Monitor service levels, flag delays or operational issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in process improvement projects and support implementation of supply chain initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• High level of integrity, accountability and strong ownership mindset.
• Fast learner with proactive attitude, organized and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• Continuous improvement mindset and strong communication skills.
