Space Knowledge & Communications Expert (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

The Non-Key Expert will support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme by managing knowledge, producing editorial content, handling communications and visibility, and maintaining digital knowledge platforms. The role focuses on disseminating policy and technical information to strengthen cooperation between Africa and the EU in the space sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage knowledge assets and ensure effective editorial production for the programme.
• Develop and implement communication and visibility strategies.
• Maintain and populate digital knowledge platforms with relevant content.
• Disseminate policy and technical material, including case studies and EU‑compliant visibility outputs.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum three‑year programme) in communication, journalism, knowledge management, information science or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in communication, editorial production, knowledge management or digital content.
• Minimum 1 year experience producing knowledge or communication products for donor‑funded or institutional programmes, preferably with space or STI focus.
