Site Supervisor - Industrial Building Construction

About the role

A well-established construction company, represented by its client, is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at construction sites. The supervisor coordinates and supervises site activities so that work is done safely, on schedule and in line with project specifications and quality standards, acting as the main link between the site team and management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple industrial building projects from planning to completion, keeping to project timelines and budgets
• Work with architects, designers and other stakeholders to develop project plans and specifications
• Instruct and supervise site workers, set their schedules and monitor their performance
• Ensure strict compliance with health and safety guidelines and conduct regular site inspections, fixing hazards immediately
• Maintain accurate records of site activities and progress reports
• Order and manage construction material inventory to keep a steady supply without overstocking
• Solve problems that could delay the project or affect the budget
• Keep the site clean, organised and hazard-free

Required profile

• B. Tech in Civil Engineering
• 6-10 years of experience in construction and project management
• Strong leadership skills to manage the site workforce

Required skills

• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and implementing them on site
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and best practices
