Senior VDC Account Manager – Telecom Sector

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior VDC Account Manager to lead strategic customer engagement and drive business growth for a leading global technology solutions provider in the telecommunications sector. The role will act as the core Project Director, overseeing project operations and ensuring successful delivery of objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain key relationships with VDC Tanzania and other strategic customers.
• Understand customers' business and network requirements and translate them into solution value propositions.
• Lead the project team as Project Director, coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with headquarters, regional key account teams, solution and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Drive customer engagement activities, strategic account planning, and identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare project updates, account reports, and performance dashboards for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in large B2B projects for major telecom operators.
• Strong market insight and the ability to manage complex, fast‑paced environments.
