Senior Technical Advisor – PPP & Governance (Health Supply Chain)

About the role

The Senior Technical Advisor (STA) will provide strategic leadership and technical direction for public‑private partnership initiatives under the FHI 360 Supply Chain project in Tanzania, acting as the primary liaison between the Ministry of Health, PMO‑RALG and private‑sector partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical advice to government institutions on strengthening governance, accountability and performance management across the health supply chain.
• Design and execute a comprehensive private‑sector engagement strategy aligned with national guidelines.
• Support the development, review and implementation of governance frameworks, policies, SOPs and institutional arrangements.
• Facilitate partnerships that advance digital health systems, tracking technologies and data visibility solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate PPP initiatives against project metrics, US‑Government regulations and global best practices.
• Prepare periodic governance reports, dashboards and risk registers.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Policy, Supply Chain Management, Public Health, International Development or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in public‑private partnerships, governance, strategic partnerships or supply chain operations, preferably in USG‑funded health initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience working with the Tanzanian Ministry of Health (Mainland and Zanzibar), PMO‑RALG, MSD and private‑sector stakeholders.
