Senior Sales Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Sales Manager to lead the international expansion of our energy metering and energy‑storage portfolio. The role will focus on driving revenue, building long‑term customer relationships and strengthening our presence across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own and exceed annual sales targets for the assigned overseas territory.
• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities within the energy sector, including utilities, EPC contractors, distributors and end‑users.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts, ensuring high satisfaction, account growth and contract renewals.
• Conduct customer needs analysis, craft tailored proposals and manage the full sales cycle from lead to contract negotiation and project kickoff.
• Represent the company at international trade shows, gather market intelligence and produce analysis reports to guide product development and strategy.
• Coordinate with internal technical, project management, logistics and after‑sales teams to ensure seamless order execution and on‑time delivery.
• Oversee post‑sales support to resolve issues promptly and maintain customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, International Business or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in international markets, preferably in energy, metering or power‑solution industries.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and managing complex B2B sales cycles.
• Experience with the South African market is highly desirable.
• Fluent English with excellent communication, presentation and proposal‑writing skills.
• Highly self‑motivated, results‑oriented and comfortable working in a cross‑cultural environment.
