Senior Manager HIV/TB Sustainability - RAS

About the role

The Senior Manager HIV/TB Sustainability – RAS will provide direct oversight of the Regional Acceleration Strategy (RAS) in Tanzania, ensuring effective implementation, monitoring and sustainability of HIV/TB services across Kagera and Tabora. Reporting to the Technical Director/Deputy Chief of Party, the role combines leadership, technical guidance and partnership management to achieve regional health objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of RAS project implementation across supported regions, councils, facilities, and communities.
• Lead development, execution, monitoring, documentation, and reporting of RAS team work plans aligned with project priorities and resources.
• Serve as regional representative and relationship manager with sub‑partners, government authorities and other stakeholders.
• Oversee supervisory, technical and operational functions of the RAS team, ensuring accountability and professional development.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Medicine, Nursing, Public Health or Project Management.
• Minimum 8 years of experience leading integrated HIV/TB services, including case identification and treatment.
• Proven experience in staff management, coaching, mentorship and capacity building.
• Strong ability to analyse program data and develop evidence‑based strategies.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Integrated HIV, STI and Hepatitis Management Guidelines.
• Program data analysis.
• Quality assurance system development and implementation.
