Senior Finance and Administration Manager

About the role

The Senior Finance and Administration Manager supports the Director of Operations in overseeing finance, human resources, administration, IT, and procurement functions at field offices in Kagera and Tabora, ensuring consistent implementation of operational policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR support, ensure policy adherence, and assist with performance evaluations and attendance management.
• Oversee administration tasks including vehicle usage logs, office accessibility, safety systems, and monthly reporting.
• Maintain IT infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, ensure daily backups, and enforce IT policies.
• Manage procurement and logistics, conduct bid analysis, liaise with vendors, and handle VAT refunds.
• Develop and monitor regional budgets, prepare monthly financial reports, process payments, perform bank reconciliations, and manage petty cash.
• Support sub‑grant administration, cash‑flow management, and compliance monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5‑7 years of finance management experience, CPA required.
• Experience supervising finance staff and supporting field office personnel.
• Strong ability to build relationships with donors, government officials, and internal teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Kiswahili a plus.
