Sales Marketing Executive

About the role

The Sales Marketing Executive will drive B2B sales of heavy‑duty machinery and construction equipment, building strong relationships with customers and dealers across the region. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, preparing proposals, and closing deals to meet revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction, mining and infrastructure sectors.
• Prepare quotations, sales proposals, tenders and detailed sales reports.
• Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations and market research.
• Negotiate contracts, present solutions and close sales deals.
• Maintain and expand a network of customers and dealers.
• Travel frequently to client sites and project locations.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of sales experience in heavy‑duty machinery, construction or mining equipment.
• Proven track record in B2B sales, customer acquisition and account management.
• Strong understanding of customer requirements and ability to recommend suitable equipment.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Fluent in English and Swahili, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of heavy‑duty machinery such as excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers and motor graders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
