Sales Manager – Solar (Tanzania)

About the role

The Sales Manager – Solar will lead Power & Sun’s commercial expansion across Tanzania. Reporting on country performance, the role combines dealer development, distributor management and key‑account acquisition while requiring extensive travel throughout the market.

Key responsibilities

• Drive overall sales growth and increase market share for Power & Sun solar products.
• Develop and implement a country‑wide sales plan aligned with corporate objectives.
• Identify, appoint and manage distributors and dealers, providing ongoing support and training.
• Build and maintain relationships with wholesalers, EPC contractors and other key customers.
• Manage key accounts, negotiate contracts and ensure timely order execution and collection.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and prepare regular sales forecasts and business reports.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows and customer events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering.
• Minimum five years of experience selling solar products, specifically inverters and batteries.
• Proven track record in channel sales and distributor network development.
• Strong ability to travel extensively across Tanzania and work independently.
