Sales Manager – Construction Equipment

About the role

Hyundai Construction Equipment Tanzania seeks an experienced Sales Manager to drive business development and strengthen market presence across the country. The role focuses on delivering sales growth, expanding market share, and ensuring high customer satisfaction for the Hyundai brand in the construction equipment sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and customer relationships in infrastructure, construction, mining, and quarrying.
• Manage strategic accounts and key customers, preparing and negotiating commercial proposals.
• Maintain the sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasts, and monitor public and private tenders.
• Support credit recovery activities and manage commercial risk.
• Coordinate closely with technical and after‑sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction equipment sales, heavy machinery, or a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of the Tanzanian market and key industry stakeholders.
• Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management abilities.
• Results‑oriented, proactive, and self‑motivated.
• Fluent in English and willing to travel frequently within Tanzania.
