Sales and Marketing Representative

About the role

Talanta is looking for a results‑driven Sales and Marketing Representative to grow its Interior Design and Fit‑Out business in Tanzania. You will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue through proactive prospecting and effective sales cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across construction, renovation, hospitality, retail and office projects.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects through cold calling, site visits, networking and client outreach.
• Develop relationships with property owners, developers, architects, consultants and corporate clients.
• Understand client requirements, present tailored solutions, prepare quotations and proposals, and negotiate commercial terms.
• Maintain regular contact with prospective and existing clients to support conversion and retention.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing feedback on customer needs and market opportunities.
• Record all activities in CRM systems, prepare weekly sales reports and track opportunities through the sales pipeline.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, Architecture, Interior Design, Real Estate or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales, business development or client‑facing experience.
• Experience in construction, real estate, interior design, furniture or hospitality is advantageous.
