Retail Store Supervisor

About the role
As a Retail Store Supervisor you will ensure a consistently high standard of customer experience while driving sales, profitability and operational excellence in the store. You will support the Store Manager in leading the team, managing inventory and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for shoppers.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service in line with PUMA’s brand values.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets, KPIs and profitability goals through effective planning and expense control.
- Assist with recruitment, training, development and succession planning for store staff.
- Control payroll, schedule staff and ensure service‑driven staffing levels.
- Manage merchandise flow, inventory counts and shrink reduction initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, healthy and compliant shopping environment.
- Work non‑traditional hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays as required.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience in a customer‑focused retail environment, preferably apparel or footwear.
- Proven ability to exceed sales goals and solve complex issues.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Team‑player attitude with a quick learning ability.
- Physical ability to walk continuously, lift/carry up to 30 lb, and use vision and hearing effectively.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience using retail‑specific software.
