Relationship Manager – Private Banking

About the role

As a Relationship Manager in Private Banking, you will develop and grow relationships with affluent customers, delivering exceptional service while driving sales and new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new high‑net‑worth clients and achieve agreed sales targets for accounts, assets and liabilities.
• Conduct detailed needs analyses to recommend suitable banking, investment and insurance products.
• Promote alternative delivery channels such as internet banking and cross‑sell additional products to existing clients.
• Provide financial planning advice to help clients increase their wealth.
• Monitor utilization of credit facilities and investment avenues, addressing under‑utilization.
• Maintain regular client visits, organize social events and entertainment to strengthen long‑term relationships.
• Manage a personal calling program, schedule meetings and report progress to the Head of Affluent.
• Track customer complaints, ensure timely resolution and report systemic issues to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in relationship management with high‑net‑worth or affluent customers.
• Strong sales orientation with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with senior clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to conduct thorough financial needs assessments and provide tailored solutions.
