Relationship Manager – Agri Business

About the role

The Relationship Manager – Agri Business will drive growth of NBC's Asset Financing portfolio by acquiring new business, assessing credit applications and delivering tailored financing solutions for agricultural assets, vehicles, equipment and machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new commercial engagements to expand the Asset Financing book.
• Liaise with clients, dealers, suppliers, government bodies, insurers and other financial institutions to protect the bank’s interests.
• Collaborate with branch and head‑office teams to originate, structure and close Asset Financing deals.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the Tanzanian asset financing market and customer needs.
• Prepare business cases, proposals and monitor portfolio performance.
• Provide guidance to branch teams on managing stressed assets.
• Work with the Product Development team to create and refine financing products and pricing.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and support internal/external audits.

Required profile

• First‑degree or equivalent in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, Accounting, Commerce, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in asset financing, credit analysis, relationship management or a related banking function.
