Regional Clinical Services Coordinator – Iringa

About the role

The Regional Clinical Services Coordinator provides technical leadership and coordination for the implementation, quality improvement, and scale‑up of comprehensive HIV and TB services under the EpiC & AFGHS‑FHI360 projects in Tanzania. The role supports Police and Prisons as well as public health facilities in Iringa, delivering integrated HIV, TB and NCD services and ensuring alignment with national guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee technical implementation and quality of HTS, prevention, care, treatment, AHD, PMTCT/EID, TB and NCD integration across supported sites.
• Lead, supervise and coordinate regional technical activities, ensuring program objectives are met.
• Provide clinical mentorship, capacity building and supportive supervision to health facilities.
• Monitor program performance, analyze data, identify gaps and guide corrective actions.
• Coordinate training, CME and joint supportive supervision with CHMTs and district teams.
• Facilitate TB‑HIV integration activities and contribute to regional planning and reporting.

Required profile

• Medical degree with national registration (or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in HIV/TB clinical services, preferably in public‑health or donor‑funded programs.
• Proven experience in clinical mentorship, supportive supervision and quality improvement.
• Experience working with Ministry of Health, regional health teams and implementing partners.
• Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
