Regional Clinical Services Coordinator (HIV/TB)

About the role

The Regional Clinical Services Coordinator leads technical implementation and quality improvement of HIV, TB and related health services across police, prison and public health facilities in the Mtwara region. The role provides clinical mentorship, data‑driven supervision and strategic guidance to strengthen service integration and patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee technical implementation of HTS, prevention, care, treatment, PMTCT/EID, TB and NCD integration at all supported sites.
• Lead regional supervision, clinical audits, mentorship and capacity‑building activities for health workers and district teams.
• Monitor program performance against targets, identify gaps and drive corrective actions using program data.
• Coordinate training, CME and joint supportive supervision with regional and central technical teams.

Required profile

• Medical degree with national registration; Master’s in Public Health is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in HIV/TB clinical services, program implementation and quality improvement.
• Proven experience working with MOH, district health teams and donor‑funded programs.

Required skills

• Expertise in HIV/TB prevention, testing, care and treatment.
• Data analysis and performance monitoring for health programs.
• Clinical mentorship, supportive supervision and capacity‑building.
• Quality improvement methodologies in healthcare delivery.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
