Recruitment Specialist

About the role

The company is looking for a Recruitment Specialist to lead its talent acquisition function. In this role you will supervise a recruitment team, manage the end‑to‑end hiring process and partner with department heads to meet staffing needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the recruitment team to achieve hiring targets.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle from manpower planning to onboarding.
• Coordinate with department heads to understand staffing requirements.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.
• Screen applications, conduct interviews, and support final selection decisions.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Monitor recruitment KPIs such as time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire, and quality‑of‑hire.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and recruitment procedures.
• Strengthen employer branding through career fairs, social media, and recruitment campaigns.
• Prepare regular recruitment reports and provide recommendations for process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment methodologies and talent sourcing techniques.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Tanzania Labour Laws is an added advantage.
