Property Management Contractor

About the role

The International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals seeks a Property Management Contractor to support effective asset and warehouse management in its Arusha office. The contractor will ensure accurate inventory control, property disposal, stock issuance, and staff clearance processes in line with organisational policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments.
• Maintain records of UN property approved for sale, trade‑in, donation, destruction or write‑off.
• Participate in physical inventory verifications of property, plant and equipment, following established guidelines.
• Support warehouse management by processing authorised requisitions, verifying them and documenting issuance of supplies.
• Check out and sign off clearance certificates for departing staff.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of experience in administration, asset management, supply, warehousing, inventory control or related fields.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French and Swahili is desirable.
• Eligibility to work in Arusha and residence within commuting distance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
