Presales Engineer - Cybersecurity

About the role

You will act as the technical authority for cybersecurity solutions in the assigned territory, working closely with channel partners and end‑customers. The role involves leading a team of Partner Technical Engineers, enabling partners, and delivering presales support for Sophos flagship products.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify sales leads from a technical perspective and drive opportunities with customers and partners.
• Provide day‑to‑day presales support, including on‑site visits, proof‑of‑concepts, and product implementations.
• Develop and deliver partner enablement activities such as trainings, workshops, webinars, and white‑boarding sessions.
• Manage, motivate, and grow a team of Partner Technical Engineers to become trusted cybersecurity advisors.
• Collaborate with partners to create technical and marketing case studies and respond to RFPs.
• Conduct technical knowledge‑sharing sessions for internal teams and partners.
• Support post‑sales activities for high‑potential customers and prioritize feature requests with regional technical management.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or Master’s in IT/Computer Science.
• Minimum 3 years of presales or sales‑engineer experience in cybersecurity, preferably with firewalls and endpoint security.
• Hands‑on experience with next‑generation firewalls, endpoint protection, EDR/XDR solutions.
• Strong presentation, white‑boarding, and product demonstration abilities.
