Patient Liaison Executive (Freelance)

About the role

We are seeking experienced freelance professionals with strong connections to Tanzania’s healthcare ecosystem to build and manage partnerships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare consultants, facilitating patient referrals to India and the UAE for advanced medical treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Tanzanian healthcare providers to generate patient referrals.
• Coordinate patient journeys between overseas doctors and partner hospitals in India and the UAE, including travel and post‑treatment follow‑up.
• Promote the myMedroads brand, build trust, and expand the network of referral partners.
• Maintain accurate records of referrals, communications, and outcomes using CRM tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; background in healthcare, life sciences, social work or business administration preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
• Experience in patient coordination, customer service or healthcare administration, preferably within hospitals, clinics or medical tourism.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple cases and follow structured processes.
• Comfortable working remotely and flexible to manage different time zones for international patients.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for managing referrals.
• Experience using telemedicine platforms.
• Competence with office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email).
