Partnership Analyst – UNV Field Units

About the role

The Partnership Analyst will support UNV Field Units in developing country‑level partnerships, analysing demand and mobilising volunteers to integrate volunteer solutions into development, humanitarian and peace programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and sustain partnerships with UN agencies, government bodies, civil society and private‑sector partners to advance UNV’s mandate.
• Participate in collective UN planning processes (CCA, UNSDCF, humanitarian response plans, thematic task forces) to embed volunteerism.
• Analyse Sustainable Development Cooperation Frameworks, Country Programme Documents and sectoral strategies to identify entry points for volunteer solutions.
• Contribute to country‑level volunteer mobilisation strategies based on partner demand and UNV’s Strategic Framework.
• Identify opportunities for onsite and online volunteer deployments across development, humanitarian and peace portfolios.
• Promote volunteerism through outreach activities, awareness campaigns and community engagement.
• Prepare data‑driven briefing materials, presentations and analytical notes to articulate UNV’s value proposition.
• Support national talent attraction and pipeline management in coordination with the Regional Talent Acquisition Analyst.

Required profile

• Experience in partnership development and demand analysis at the country level.
• Familiarity with UN planning instruments and development frameworks.
• Ability to produce analytical briefing materials and presentations.
