Partnership Analyst – Country Level

About the role

The Partnership Analyst will support the UNV Field Unit in Dar es Salaam by developing and managing country‑level partnerships that integrate volunteer solutions into development, humanitarian and peace programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively identify and sustain partnerships with UN agencies, government bodies, civil society and private sector organisations.
• Participate in collective planning processes (CCA, UNSDCF, humanitarian response plans) to embed volunteerism.
• Analyse national development frameworks and sectoral strategies to pinpoint entry points for volunteer deployment.
• Develop and execute volunteer mobilisation strategies based on partner demand and UNV’s strategic framework.
• Promote volunteerism through outreach activities, awareness campaigns and community engagement.
• Prepare data‑driven briefing materials, presentations and analytical notes to communicate UNV’s value proposition.
• Support talent attraction and pipeline management aligned with country demand forecasts.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in partnership development, programme planning or volunteer coordination at the country level.
• Strong understanding of UN development frameworks and humanitarian response mechanisms.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to produce briefing documents and presentations.
