Network Performance & Experience Consultant

About the role

Huawei Tanzania seeks a senior professional to bridge network quality, customer experience, and commercial impact. The role focuses on translating network insights into strategies that enhance service experience, competitiveness, and revenue opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders such as CTOs, Heads of Network, and Commercial leaders.
• Understand customer business priorities, competitive pressures, and growth objectives.
• Use service and experience analytics platforms (e.g., SmartCare) to assess end‑user experience across video, voice, and gaming services.
• Identify service quality gaps affecting perception, churn, and revenue.
• Design network evolution and service‑experience improvement initiatives aligned with customer strategy.
• Present commercially grounded value propositions linking technical enhancements to outcomes like retention, NPS improvement, and service monetisation.
• Lead discussions on experience standards and premium network positioning.
• Collaborate with internal technical, product, and sales teams to ensure aligned execution.
• Drive resolution of complex, high‑impact issues affecting experience or business performance.
• Track industry and technology trends and propose proactive initiatives.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in telecommunications with exposure to wireless network planning, optimisation, or performance management.
• Progression into customer‑facing, consulting, or strategic roles.
• Proven experience presenting to senior stakeholders (C‑level or department heads).
• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related discipline.
