MEP Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

The MEP Engineer will lead the planning, design, coordination and supervision of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for construction and infrastructure projects. You will ensure that all installations meet approved designs, quality standards, safety requirements and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities with project managers, clients and subcontractors, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Prepare and verify Bill of Quantities (BOQ), check plans and drawings for accuracy, and support contract billing.
• Supervise site manpower, monitor subcontractor performance, and manage material inspections with vendors.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and building management systems.
• Resolve technical issues in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in MEP engineering on construction, infrastructure, industrial or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection and building management systems.
• Experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation and project planning.
