Marketing Manager – Tanzania

About the role

The Marketing Manager – Tanzania will lead the Tiles and sanitary ware showroom, driving sales growth, overseeing marketing activities and ensuring an exceptional customer experience across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Lead showroom sales and marketing activities to achieve and exceed targets, plan and execute promotional campaigns within approved budgets.
• Manage daily showroom operations, reporting, compliance with company policies and maintenance of IT systems and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment, and ensure accurate labeling and attractive product displays.
• Oversee customer service and order management, handling wholesale and project‑based orders, deliveries, inquiries and after‑sales support.
• Optimize showroom layout, visual merchandising and presentation to maximize sales and maintain a brand‑aligned environment.
• Recruit, train and develop showroom staff, set KPIs, evaluate performance and foster a high‑performance culture.
• Control operational expenses, manage budgets and ensure showroom profitability.
• Develop and manage digital marketing initiatives across VOSA and at least three other platforms to support sales and brand visibility.
• Coordinate with warehouse, planning, logistics and other internal departments to meet customer and business requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Sales, Marketing, International Trade or a related field.
• 3–6 years of retail sales and showroom management experience, preferably in tiles or sanitary ware.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in the ceramic tiles or sanitary ware sector.
• Proven ability to manage teams of seven or more staff in cross‑cultural environments.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and email communication.
