Marketing Manager (Showroom Operation)

About the role

The Marketing Manager – Tanzania will lead showroom operations, drive sales growth and ensure an outstanding customer experience. This commercial leader will work across multiple regions, focusing on the ceramic tiles and sanitary ware market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead showroom sales and marketing activities to meet and exceed targets, planning promotional campaigns within budget.
• Establish daily, weekly and monthly reporting systems and ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers and maintain accurate labeling, organized storage and attractive displays.
• Guide sales and service teams to deliver excellent customer service, manage wholesale and project orders and handle after‑sales support.
• Optimize showroom layout, visual merchandising and customer flow to maximise sales.
• Recruit, train and develop showroom staff, set KPIs, evaluate performance and foster a high‑performance culture.
• Control operational expenses, manage budgets and ensure showroom profitability.
• Develop and manage digital marketing initiatives on Douyin and at least three other platforms.
• Coordinate closely with warehouse, planning, logistics and other internal departments to meet business requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Sales, Marketing, International Trade or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of retail sales and showroom management experience.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in ceramic tiles or sanitary ware sales.
• Proven ability to manage teams of 7+ staff in cross‑cultural environments.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
