Marketing & Communication Associate – East Africa

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing & Communication Associate to support our East Africa operations. The role involves developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing media relations, and coordinating events to strengthen brand presence across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
• Coordinate media relations, draft press releases, and maintain a digital news archive.
• Plan and execute virtual and in‑person events.
• Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, product messaging, and brand procedures.
• Work with external agencies to develop campaigns and distribute content on social media platforms.
• Monitor marketing trends, tools, and technologies to keep campaigns effective.
• Develop corporate communication strategies and manage internal and external communications.
• Create engaging content for mass media, the company website, and other platforms.
• Maintain and grow the company’s social media channels.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, digital marketing, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Creative, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Canva.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Social media and website content management experience.
