Logistics Operations Administrator

About the role

CEVA Logistics is expanding its footprint in East Africa and seeks a diligent CFS Administrator to support Container Freight Station operations in Tanzania. The role focuses on accurate operational documentation, timely system updates, and seamless billing coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and process billing information for all CFS services accurately and promptly.
• Verify operational records such as truck movements, equipment usage, labour deployment, and storage activities to support invoice preparation.
• Prepare, issue, and maintain invoices, billing records, and supporting documentation for billable and approved non‑billable services.
• Reconcile billing data, escalating discrepancies for resolution and responding to customer billing enquiries.
• Maintain accurate billing files, reports, and records in line with company procedures and support revenue assurance initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Customs and Freight Forwarding, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in CFS operations handling billing.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality with a methodical approach to work.
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and reporting.
