Lodge/Camp Manager

About the role

The Lodge/Camp Manager will lead the entire camp operation for Southern Tanzania National Parks, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable and high‑quality experience. This senior‑level position combines team leadership, guest service excellence, and financial oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily camp activities, including accommodation, dining, and guest services.
• Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of performance and presentation.
• Maintain and continuously improve camp facilities, health & safety standards, and environmental practices.
• Control budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost‑effective measures.
• Coordinate with park authorities and external partners to align operations with conservation goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing a lodge, camp, or similar hospitality operation.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
• Excellent communication and guest‑service orientation.
• Ability to work in remote, outdoor environments and adapt to changing conditions.
