Liability Products Manager

About the role

The Liability Products Manager will lead the development, pricing, and performance of retail liability products, ensuring alignment with the bank’s growth targets and market strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and agree income targets for retail banking products and set local product pricing strategies.
• Conduct product research, development, implementation and prepare monthly tariff reports to identify revenue leakages.
• Collaborate daily with Operations, Retail Credits, Marketing and other stakeholders to ensure smooth product processing and sales activation.
• Drive product balance‑sheet growth, campaign planning, margin forecasting and competitive product reviews.
• Build business cases for new liability products, secure approvals and oversee SIT & UAT testing before launch.
• Support the Head of Retail Products on product roll‑outs, enhancements and risk governance processes.
• Provide training, product awareness drives and stakeholder feedback on competitor activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing liability products within a retail banking environment.
• Strong analytical ability to develop pricing strategies, forecast margins and monitor product performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across operations, credit, marketing and risk functions.
• Ability to lead product development projects from business case through implementation and post‑launch review.
