Legal Officer

About the role

Reveurse Tanzania Company Limited is seeking a qualified Legal Officer to support its HR outsourcing services. The role focuses on labour law compliance, dispute resolution and legal drafting for a workforce of over 200 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on employment regulations, labour contracts and company policies.
• Represent the company and its clients before the Commission for Mediation and Arbitration (CMA) and Labour Courts.
• Draft, review and negotiate legal documents, notices, contracts and opinions.
• Manage labour disputes, investigations and litigation matters.
• Monitor legislative changes and ensure continuous compliance with Tanzanian labour law.

Required profile

• Active, registered legal practitioner with a valid Practising Licence from the Tanganyika Law Society.
• LL.B degree from a recognised institution.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in labour law practice and litigation.
• Proven experience handling labour matters for a workforce of more than 200 employees.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• In‑depth knowledge of Tanzanian labour laws and employment regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Up‑to‑date awareness of legal developments, amendments and court practices.
