About the role

The Legal Manager will provide comprehensive legal support to senior management and business operations, ensuring compliance across all commercial and labor matters. This role is pivotal in managing legal risks and overseeing corporate governance within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory support to management and business operations
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, corporate regulations, and industry standards
• Handle litigation, legal disputes, and regulatory matters
• Support corporate governance and policy implementation
• Advise on employment law, disciplinary matters, and labor relations
• Manage legal risks across manufacturing operations
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external legal counsel

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); Advocate certification is an added advantage
• 5+ years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing company
• Strong knowledge of corporate, labor, and commercial law
