Lease Line Collection Officer

About the role

The Lease Line Collection Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate billing, timely collection and effective reconciliation of lease line services for corporate customers. The role bridges the technical provisioning team, finance department and customers to safeguard revenue and maintain strong relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Verify contracts, SOFs and UATs are correctly implemented before billing and validate link configurations during mock bill runs.
• Maintain a master file for FLD billing (MOCN, capacity, site name, currency, price) and ensure traffic (SMS, USSD) is validated before billing.
• Deliver e‑bills and printed invoices to corporate customers, confirm outstanding balances and follow up on payments.
• Send payment reminders, prepare daily ageing and collection KPI reports, and post payments in coordination with the finance team.
• Reconcile bank credits, identify non‑identified credits and produce daily knock‑off reports.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers to resolve disputes and reconcile accounts within the billing cycle.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer contact information, conduct visits for overdue accounts and support service‑related issues.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent in Finance, Accountancy or Banking.
• Strong IT literacy and ability to work with billing and finance systems.
• Relevant experience in billing, collections or account reconciliation within a telecom or similar environment.
