About the role

We are looking for a native or near‑native Kinyarwanda speaker to help shape the next generation of AI language models. Your cultural insight and linguistic precision will directly improve how AI understands real‑world Kinyarwanda content.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to and accurately transcribe Kinyarwanda audio and video recordings, adding exact timestamps.
• Capture emotional tone, mood, and speaker intent to enrich training datasets.
• Review and assess grammatical structures, sentence patterns, and syntax in Kinyarwanda and English.
• Explain idiomatic and nuanced expressions, highlighting cultural relevance.
• Support translation validation, data labeling, and linguistic review tasks.
• Maintain high accuracy and professionalism across all written and spoken deliverables.
• Commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week and meet project milestones on schedule.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native fluency in Kinyarwanda with strong English proficiency.
• Excellent written and spoken communication, with attention to tonal and contextual details.
• Hands‑on experience in transcription, data annotation, or structured language work.
• Self‑motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Reliable remote work setup with necessary tools and connectivity.
