Junior Full Stack Developer

About the role

ShuleSoft is looking for a motivated Junior Full Stack Developer to join our on‑site team in Dar es Salaam. You will contribute to building and maintaining web applications that support our school management platform across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy front‑end features using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Implement back‑end functionality with PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Integrate and optimise database interactions with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with product, design and QA teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the software lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in front‑end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Hands‑on experience with PHP and Laravel for back‑end development.
• Familiarity with relational databases, particularly MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.
