IT Software Support Engineer – Onsite in Tanzania

About the role
Exact Software Ltd is seeking an IT Software Support Engineer to join its Tanzania team. You will be the primary technical contact for clients using the Vision Software suite, ensuring smooth deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of hardware, networks, and databases.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Vision software on Windows 7, 10, and 11 environments.
- Perform Microsoft SQL database installations, setups, and provide continuous technical assistance.
- Deploy ERP modules on client sites and deliver comprehensive end‑user training.
- Manage firewall and antivirus settings to maintain secure client environments.
- Handle basic networking tasks, including IP address allocation and LAN/WLAN troubleshooting.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven hands‑on experience supporting Windows operating systems and ERP solutions.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Swahili.
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑centric approach.
