Informatics Officer – Data Analytics & EMR Support

About the role

The Informatics Officer will support EMR use, data infrastructure, and mHealth solutions across EGPAF‑supported facilities in Kagera and Tabora, ensuring high‑quality data for program monitoring and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support EMR (CTC2) implementation and develop quality‑assurance strategies to improve data completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain and enhance data infrastructure, including relational databases and cloud components.
• Implement and sustain mHealth solutions for real‑time data transmission and reporting.
• Provide on‑demand data management, analytics, and visualization services.
• Collaborate with end‑users to identify needs, develop applications, and improve data access.
• Capacitate staff on standard operating procedures for data handling and promote a data‑use culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, IT, Data Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in database administration, data engineering, application development, or informatics.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement abilities.
