Independent Attorney – Remote Contract (AI Training)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced attorney to join a remote, contract‑based team that trains next‑generation AI systems. You will apply your contract law expertise to evaluate and improve AI‑generated suggestions in realistic negotiation scenarios across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises to assess AI output for accuracy and legal risk.
• Review AI‑generated contract drafts, flag inconsistencies, and provide corrective feedback.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, annotation guidelines, and evaluation criteria.
• Identify gaps in AI‑produced contract language and propose improvements aligned with legal standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience drafting, reviewing, or negotiating contracts in a legal or corporate setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to assess legal risks.
• Familiarity with SaaS agreements, technology transactions, and data annotation practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
