Hydrogeology Engineer (Dar es Salaam)

About the role

We are seeking a Hydrogeology Engineer to join our team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The role involves conducting groundwater modeling, hydrogeological assessments, and designing water‑resource development projects for our infrastructure portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run groundwater models using tools such as MODFLOW.
• Perform hydrogeological and geological data analysis for project feasibility.
• Design water‑resource development and management solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Water Resource Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in hydrogeology, groundwater modeling, and water‑resource management.
• Familiarity with infrastructure or international projects is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
