Human Resources Manager (Head of HR)

About the role

The Head of Human Resources will lead the HR function for a FINCA Impact Finance subsidiary, reporting directly to the CEO. This senior position is responsible for shaping and executing the HR strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate policies while addressing local requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
• Oversee talent acquisition, staffing, onboarding, and workforce planning across all levels.
• Design and manage performance management processes, including evaluations and development plans.
• Lead compensation, variable pay, merit, and bonus strategies.
• Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and maintain a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure accurate record‑keeping, benefits administration, health and safety compliance, and succession planning.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide HR counsel, strategic advice, and support change initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience, preferably as a Head of HR or HR Director.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing full‑cycle recruitment, performance management, and compensation programs.
