Hub Manager – Solar Energy Operations

About the role

The Hub Manager leads a network of solar‑powered service hubs, ensuring growth, operational integrity and financial health. You will combine an entrepreneurial mindset with disciplined execution to expand customer acquisition and mentor female community leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Drive customer acquisition through door‑to‑door initiatives and local sales strategies to reach 150 active customers per hub.
• Maximise monthly recurring revenue and average revenue per user by managing retention, reducing churn and converting users to membership models.
• Enforce “Brilliant Basics” inventory protocols and ensure 100 % compliance with loss‑prevention metrics.
• Recruit, interview and coach “Jaza Star” team members in sales, customer service and technical inventory management.
• Own hub profitability metrics, report to regional coordinators and flag operational issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in sales‑driven roles, customer relations or entrepreneurship, with a proven track record of team management.
• Demonstrated ability to train and coach diverse teams and a passion for increasing energy access for women in Tanzania.
• Willingness to relocate as required.
